Moi Day, Kenya

Moi Day is held every 10th of October in Kenya to commemorate the peace and unity that reigned in the country under the Daniel Moi administration. His policies made him a popular amongst the people of Kenya, and much of that good will remains till today. Although the holiday was scrapped in 2010 by Parliament, it was officially reinstated in 2017 by a decision of Kenya’s Supreme court.
